Winter Classic Hockey Camp at Lasker Rink - Jan 2-4, 2019
Dear Parents,
I hope you are having a great hockey season.
I am excited to announce our upcoming Winter Classic Camp at Lasker Rink, now in its 13th year!
Our Winter Classic Camp has four areas of focus: power skating, puck control, passing, and shooting. In addition, we will continue to learn how to improve our offense and defense - we will help players understand how to effectively battle for the puck and create offensive opportunities as well as practice various game patterns and plays. At the end of each camp, we'll put all these skills into practice with scrimmages and games, which the kids enjoy!
The camp is open to mites, squirts and peewees. We group the sessions according to age and skill level, with the younger players spending extra time practicing the fundamental hockey skills. The camp is lead by several veteran coaches including myself. We also have camp counselors on hand to assist both the coaches and the campers.
CAMP SCHEDULE: 9:30AM – 3PM
January 2 – 4 (Wednesday - Friday)
*January 7 (Monday) If there is sufficient enrollment, we will hold a half-day camp on January 7, from 9:30AM – 12:30PM.
As I expect many of you will be traveling during the holidays, you are welcome to sign-up per day. For safety reasons, we have a limited capacity so kindly let me know if you are interested and I will reserve a spot for your child and send further details about the camp. Please indicate which dates you are interested in attending.
