North Park Annual Appeal 2024-25
We had an exciting MLK tournament weekend with our teams competing all over the country including Detroit MI, Boston MA, Providence RI, Philadelphia PA, Baltimore MD, Washington DC, Charleston SC and Tampa Bay FL. We had impressive showings across the program, and now our coaches will continue to work on finishing Player Evaluations. There is a lot to be proud of.
We also look forward to the upcoming merger + incorporation of the City Ice hockey programs within North Park. Starting with the 2024-’25 season, North Park will be in position to extend our full menu of youth hockey development from 6U first-day beginners, to our oldest age groups competing at the highest national levels. We are thrilled to join forces with the NYC Skyliners + NYC Hockey Club families on this venture.
North Park would not be the program it is today without your support of the Annual Appeal. We are filled with gratitude for your continued generosity, which has ensured the response to requests for additional programming can always be “Yes.” “Yes” we should secure that extra sheet of practice ice. “Yes” our practices will be fully staffed with high level professional coaches. "Yes” we should sign up for that extra tournament. “Yes” we should join that new league. And, "Yes” we will roster that child whose family needs tuition assistance.
As a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run not-for-profit, North Park has no overhead or margin. Your tuition goes directly to the programming for our children, on and off the ice. In addition, we work hard to ensure tight rosters, allowing each child to enjoy optimal ice time. Your contributions to the Annual Appeal are crucial to building the cushion to fund the “Yes.”
